The Founding of O'Toole Marketing
Nearly one and a half years after starting the business(2005), then called LionShare Communications, I was notified by a company (in my home state of Kansas, ironically), named LionShare Marketing, that the term LionShare was being trademarked. I was asked to "cease and desist" from using it, etc. Within one weekend I had a new DBA, a new website, new logo, new business cards on order, and I vowed that I would persevere no matter what came across my path.
Since that time, I have added four additional pledges to my personal pact of perseverance:
Never stop learning
Share openly and freely the gifts I've been given
Encourage all who cross my path to find, share, and celebrate their unique voices
Seek beauty and truth
O'Toole Marketing was established as a vehicle to share our personal gifts. Our primary business focus is in coaching and education. We prefer to work with small businesses and sole proprietors. Our solutions tend to be operations-oriented.
